PSBB Youth Program

The Prevent, Stop, and Bring Back (PSBB) Youth Program is designed to support the development and growth of young immigrants of afro-descendants in the United States. The program focuses on preventing youth from getting involved in unproductive activities, and it provides support and resources that help them to succeed and leave a positive impact on their communities.
The PSBB Youth Program includes a range of components, including:

Newcomers Pre-school Program:This component of the PSBB program provides school readiness support to young immigrants who arrive in the United States. Young students receive training and support in basic practices in the US school systems and develop skills that enable them to adapt faster and become successful students. Students are also guided and supported with resources that help them get admitted into vocational schools and universities.

Career Mentorship and Leadership Development: This component of the PSBB Program works to connect young immigrants with mentors and role models who can help guide their development and growth. This may include initiatives such as one-on-one or group mentorship, career guidance, and job readiness training. The program provides coaching on personal financial planning, avoiding unnecessary debt, and managing necessary debt.

Youth Mental Health and Psychosocial Support: We identify young immigrants that are at different stages of substance abuse. We provide counseling services and work to bring them out of substance abuse, rehabilitate them, and integrate them into productive activities that benefit them and their communities.
