I-REAP Program

The Immigrant Research and Evidence-based Policy Advocacy (I-REAP) Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to support the advancement of immigrants of afro-descendants through research and evidence-based policy advocacy. The I-REAP Program includes a range of components, including:

Research: The I-REAP Program conducts research on the issues faced by immigrants of afro-descendants and the internal and external barriers to their success. Findings from the research are used to inform the development of programs and policies that support the advancement of afro-descendants.

Evidence-based policy advocacy: The I-REAP Program uses the research it conducts to advocate for policies and practices that support the advancement of immigrants. This includes working with policymakers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to raise awareness and advocate for change.

Program development and implementation: CAIA develops and implements a range of programs that address the internal barriers to success faced by immigrants of afro-descendants. The programs provide legal assistance, health, nutrition, and financial awareness, education, training, and employment assistance. Overall, the I-REAP Programs support the advancement of afro descendants through a combination of research, policy advocacy, and program development and implementation.
